Information for Medtronic Employees

Medtronic and All Hands Volunteers have formed a partnership so Medtronic employees can have an opportunity to volunteer directly doing disaster response work.

How to Volunteer with All Hands

We have a limited amount of volunteer spots on our projects and have reserved spots for Medtronic employees. If you are interested in volunteering please fill out the following form and make sure to apply with your @Medtronic email address.

The Work:

The work of our volunteer programs over the past five years has been focused on disaster response. We tend to help in the response phase not during search and rescue. This means that we try to come in quickly after a natural disaster hits, but after the search and rescue phase, and fill in gaps left by governmental and non-governmental agencies in clean-up, community recovery and reconstruction projects. We also have the ability to launch projects in areas of great need without the necessity of a major disaster as the triggering event. We work six days a week with each Tuesday off. Our minimum age to volunteer is 18 years old, unless accompanied by a parent/guardian. Parents, please contact us at for more information.

What does it cost?

We do not charge a participation fee to volunteer. You get yourself to the project, and in return we provide shelter, food, and a rewarding and unique volunteer opportunity. The average cost to house and feed you while you are on a project is $15 US a day. If you would like to make a donation to cover your time on the project it would be appreciated. If you’re looking for an easy way to support the work All Hands does or engage your family and friends, you can create a customized fundraising page.
