With the generous donation of a photo printer from Melinda and the Women Like Us Foundation, All Hands’ volunteers give local Haitian volunteers photos of themselves, possibly the first printed photo they have ever owned of themselves.

All Hands Volunteers would like to give special thanks to the Women Like Us Foundation for donating the photo printer and supplies to Project Leogane. The photos we produce are always enthusiastically received, particularly by the children of Leogane. Thank you.

Thank you for doing this. I am so touched by this video. You told the Picture Me Project Story in a way that we have not been able to convey before.

Many sad and discouraging stories continue to make their way out of Haiti. This project made possible by All Hands Volunteers, Women Like Us Foundation and my friend Melinda Bostwick shows us something else. Haitians have strength, determination and hope that are captured in these pictures. Photographs allow the adults and children of Leogane to see deeper into themselves — and give the rest of the world an unfiltered look at how the human spirit can triumph over calamity. Congratulations to those who made this project possible.
